A true life story

Recently my mother rang me from the dacha, and asked me if I liked the photos of slime molds that she had sent me from the forest. Since we started noticing them during our expeditions into the forest, we saw all kinds of multicolored colonies of slime molds! I told her that yes, I did like them, they were great, and there were some that I’d never seen before. At the end of our conversation, she remembered: “Oh, yes! We’ve also got an unusual beetle with a batch of eggs! I’ve never seen one like it. I’ll send you a photo.”

She sent it, and I saw an intervention object I’d forgotten about, a “beacon” of the alive/not alive. Yes, it was certainly the one. But now it had an inhabitant inside a broken “egg”,

At that moment it seemed to me that the future with a blurred boundary between the artificial and natural, alive and not alive, was already right here.
